MSQC's English Week '08

ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL
~ Cecil Frances Alexander ~

All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.

Each little flower that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colors,
He made their tiny wings.

The purple-headed mountain,

The river running by,

The sunset and the morning,

That brightens up the sky;

The cold wind in the winter,
The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,

He made them every one.

He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell,

How great is God Almighty,

Who has made all things well.

Keanna won 1st place this time. She will receive a gold medal award on their Graduation Day come April. For now, ribbon lang muna. I wasn't prepared na pinapaakyat pala lahat ng parents ng winners...hehe! Mommy just came from work..waaah! With us in the picture is Mr. Dizon, the school's Principal. He, along with MSQC's Academic Supervisor, Mr. Antonio Go were the one's who exposed more than 400 errors he had found in one public elementary textbook back 2002. They are the men behind Marian School of QC's continuous growth. They are very approachable and accommodating.

I am glad to have chosen MSQC as Keanna's first taste of school...a tiny but BIG school. MSQC value religion, and Family. Here, all Teachers knows every student, all students are friends with each other. Whenever I'm at school, I feel the friendly environment they have. Keanna fell in love with her school which at times make me think twice if I'm still gonna transfer her to somewhere else. Time flies so fast, parang kailan lang, we were looking for a school good for Keanna, now she'll be entering Grade school na agad.

They are celebrating the English Week from Feb. 25- 29 and with them in the celebration is Scholastic, said to be the world's largest publisher and distributor of children books. They also encouraged the kids and gave wish lists and even put up a booth (mini library style) in the school grounds.

I promised Keanna to get the books she listed as a wish come my off on Friday. She has plenty of books already but still can't get enough. That, is something that I like about her...her love of books and reading.
