Pick your color!

Yesterday was the National and Local elections here in the Phils. And, as it shows in the photo, we've made a choice!

Yellow it is!

Our choice wasn't based on the "trend" actually. We have to consider many things as well. He may not have done big things just like what they say in the past campaign ads but don't you think it is better than someone who has the "been there, done that" attitude and reputation?
So, what happened?
I know and I've heard a lot about these candidates. We all know, deep within, they too have a good heart. They have this passion to serve people but some of all the candidates in the National and Local list seemed to be superficial to me.

It is really necessary to vote and make it count.
Why?
It is obviously for my children's future!

Ready For Solids

It hasn't been a while when I introduced Roey to solid foods.
I was actually hesitant at first and told myself that I'll wait for her 6th month before I let her take solids. But, I saw her readiness and her eagerness to taste something else, haha! I had to check out Baby Center and make sure she is indeed ready. So when she was 22 weeks, I had her taste Nestle Cerelac. I also had her taste apples and bananas already.

The very first solid she tasted was a fuji apple, where I had her hold a slice and she eagerly licked it as you can see the picture. That gave me the hint that she is ready enough for solids.

In this photo, I fed her about 2 tablespoons of Cerelac.

She enjoyed it, right?

Now, I found this list of Top 10 best foods for babies from Baby Center and I'd like to share it with you all. I myself will have to try and give these to my baby.

* Avocados
* Blueberries
* Broccoli
* Dark green leafy vegetables
* Garbanzo beans
* Lentils
* Mandarin oranges
* Meat
* Prunes
* Squash

Sisters...My Life!

You may want to take that double look again. Yes! The babies in the picture are my daughters. Keanna Steffi on the left side has thicker hair and a little smaller than Haley Roneese on the right. I managed to keep that same Powerpuff Girls dress and lucky Roey is still able to wear it. It's a backless dress which is so in time for the summer.

I've been wanting to post this since last week but our PC's USB ports failed me. A lot of people say that Roey is bigger and fairer than Keanna but we can't deny the fact that they have similarities too. While I was in the process of editing Keanna's 4th month pic, my MIL saw me and thought that the baby in the picture was Roey. Haha!

Basically looking at their pictures gives me an inner sense of happiness. Children, even just in pictures does it always. They can easily swipe that sadness or stress away. They make wonders! Indeed, our children are our strength, our joy...
our LIFE!

Look at my kids now...

All I can say is they're my everything!
I love my KIDS!

To my Mommy friends out there, go grab those cameras and post those pics away!

Jhaz's time to shine

Kate Jhazreel

She's 8 and like a daughter to me too. And just like Keanna and even before my dawty, she aspired to be a model too. I brought her to Adtraxx for a file VTR where Keanna had her chance as well. She had a lot of audition and VTR calls from Adtraxx but it is either they have previous engagements on the same date the audition was set or the family is out of town. Her mom, Esmeeh (my cuz) kept asking me when will she be "casted" or featured in a mag too.. Well, I don't know...I told her to wait. HE knows when is the right time.

First time, first pic submitted, and she got included in Milestones section of Momstoday. And Esmeeh got so excited of the prizes..hehe! To find out, she will be passing some of the tokens to our nephew Vin Ethienne.
