We Were Invited!
I am currently in the look for cute invitations and cake designs - in preparation for my toddler's 3rd birthday perhaps?
My kids and I were invited to Miggi's 3rd birthday party last February. It was well attended by kids and kids at heart alike. The cake, cupcakes, loots, gifts, balloons, food and games made everything about the said event fun. My dear friend Jo requested for me to create the party invitations for Miggi and I gladly did. Of course, I am no pro in Photoshop and all but I tried my best and glad that she liked the tarpaulin and invitation I made for Miggi.
Of course, for better and professional party invitations , there are people, companies and websites you can go to. I only made one for Miggi as my gift to him. For me to be able to create one, I had to browse the net and be inspired from various party invitations I saw from InvitationBox's collection. I would like to jump for joy and celebrate after I have finished making the party invitation and so as the tarpaulin.
As we all know, life is a celebration. Issues come and go and at the end of the day, there are still a lot to be thankful for and celebrate. Every life's event is something to look forward to and be happy about. Just like birthdays - be it themed or just a simple one. Any party will never be without an invitation of course! Making your party invitations chic, lovely, unique, artistic and out of the ordinary is really up to you. These event invitations serves as a hint to your guests on how lovely and fun the party would be and who doesn't like to be in a fun-filled party after all? Kids and the old ones will definitely be happy to celebrate with you. So, if you are planning to have a memorable party for yourself, someone special, a relative or a friend, it is really best to start with planning - theme, party invitations, venue, food, games, and favors too! Starting with a very nice theme and invitations will serve as your sparklers and will keep the ball rolling. You don't need to be a pro in organizing a party yourself but if you would like to save all the energy and avoid all the hassle, there's a lot in the web to do it for you.

...would have loved to see the party invitation and tarpaulin you created for the birthday boy :) Life is indeed a celebration!
i am a sucker for parties and i am the one who host and in charge of the party fun for my family of 20 so that's 20 regular parties in a year!i go for theme parties. i hope to see what you've done for miggi and your boy!
i'm glad that there are a lot of online themes that serve as inspirations for party invitations, at least we wouldn't have to start from scratch. =)
wow! bonggan bongga talaga. Grabe ang preparations. I make invitations card too kasi gusto ko personalised, I prepare food (British Children has there own diet mostly finger foods. Tapos party bags, games and prices, balloons and deco pa. Yong cake nila mas mura at sobrang ganda pa.
I'm trying to look for your work or creation of party invitation so that I could share what my evaluation as to the craftsmanship of your job. :(
we never missed a kiddie party, and make sure that my son wont go home without prize, he really enjoys joining and bragging prize
nice theme
party invitation is not a problem anymore this days .just check the internet and you can print some or make one according to your design
Wow Bilib talaga ako sa mga moms, just thinking about your stress for the preparations! Wow! Good thing I'm still single,, hehe.. But for sure it's worth it for moms, the pleasure of seeing you kid enjoying.. ;) hope to host parties for my kids too soon! ;)
My daughters bday is fast approaching and I am planning already her birthday party! I hope I will succeed like you did! tnx for the share. :)
The cake is so lovely :) Love the color!
Oooh. I love attending kids parties. Very fun kasi and colorful. Tsaka, most of the time, merong take home na balloons. haha!
True. Kapag merong plano na magparty, it needs careful planning. And having a very creative invitation is a start. :)
let us see your labor of love ma'am :)) good job!
An angry bird themed kiddie party. This is super cool!
i'm not fond of big parties, i find it stressful kasi so most of the time we celebrate it with family only except nung 1st bday ng son ko. i'm not sure kung sa 7th bday niya magpaparty ulit ako.
That's one nicely done invitation there plus the theme sounds really fun. I'm sure the kids and kids at heart had a blast.
before, most mommies would plan bday parties for their kids only on the first birthday, 7th bday and next will be on debut. but now it seems they plan to celebrate and throw a party every year...
OMG !
too expensive... anyways, if i am a wealthy mom, why not?
My daughter's invite is almost done in time for her first birthday this April.
Regardless on how your nephew would be celebrating his birthday, what matters is he is happy after the party. ^_^
I have to confess that on my niece's first bday, we tried to do it on our own but blew the budget.
The succeeding years, puro fast food kiddie parties na lang. Some people are just gifted with it. Hahah
Nice tarpaulin! What a successful party!
the cake looks good, parang ayaw ko ipagalaw if akin un...
happy birthday to Miggi..I guess, your kid has enjoyed the party, didn't she?
by the way, the cake looks good.
Love the Angry Birds-inspired invite! so colorful and very kid-dy.
Such a cute cake! Always fun to celebrate children's birthdays. Mickie :)
In my family, I personally made invitations and tarpaulin design.
Great job with creating the part invitation. That cake looks pretty amazing too. I love the way it came out.
