Practice makes chocolates!

My new job may have similarities from the previous one but also differs in a lot of ways. If I deal with customers or members before, this time I deal with the employees.

It has been 10 weeks since I started with the new company and I've been on training for 2 months now. I have been certified for classroom and mock calls training already but is still not in the "nesting period" as we call it. Yes, I am already taking in calls but is still waiting for my co-trainees to be certified as well so we can go on nesting all at once. I am but thankful that for sometime now, I've been taking live calls. I get to practice. They say that practice makes perfect. For me, practice makes chocolates. Haha! There was a lady employee who asked for my supervisor and commended my assistance!

It was great to have helped her. My pleasure Madame.

With that my trainer who received that commendation call gave me Cadbury Dairy milk choco for a job well done. Thanks Ms. Bessie!

Quick pick

Since the school year started, I've been looking out for snacks I can give to my daughter which she'll eat for her 15 mins break. Well, of course, I have to get some cereals for a quick breakfast in case she's running late for school.

But, aside from the usual sandwiches and packed lunch, she's requested for something she can just grab and enjoy. That is when I bought her these wafer sticks, Champola. I was thinking that she wouldn't like the chocolate flavor so I decided to get the strawberry flavored wafer stick. Of course, because of her love for strawberries, that's what she tasted first and I wasn't surprise that she loved it. Unexpectedly, she loved the choco flavored too and is requesting for me to buy her the Mocha flavor next time.

8th month

Haley Roneese

Today is my baby's 8th month.
As always, we had a simple celebration and for this month, it was simple but with the whole family sharing Pancit Canton is already fun.

Haley Roneese or Roey as we call her had shown a lot of funny and exciting things I'd rather call developments. Though, there were times I worry and feel guilty 'coz the bed bugs so love her. Oh please spare my little angel.

Roey's first tooth showed up when she was 22 wks and the first 4 set at the upper part showed on her 30th. She still can't sit on her own yet but she's crawling already...can forward from about 2" to a feet. And oh, she loves gadgets! She would eagerly grab my mobile phone and iTouch. She loves to dance to the tune of Justine Beiber's "BABY". LOL!

She can do the "close-open", "peek-a-boo", itsy-bitsy act, stick out her tongue with saliva shower and now practices to wink. She would even cry whenever I leave for work. She will have difficulty sleeping and will burst into tears with a real loud cry if I will not carry and sway/dance her. Spoiled right? haha!

I just wish and pray that both my kids grow up healthy, kind, loving and God fearing. Happy 8th month sweetie baby Roey!

My VP, My VP

Told Mommy that she won the most number of votes for VP position in their classroom...but she nominated herself. Hehe!

Negative: Some people may think that she's so aggresive.
Positive: She did what she can to achieve what she wanted.

Kids nowadays...

She'll be 8 by July. In 3rd grade at Marian School of Quezon City. Wakes up at 4am, ready for her school service by 5:30am and classes starts at 7:20 'til past 2PM.
I miss her.

CC: Plans for Father's Day

I think hubby already has an idea on what surprise we have for him on Father's Day.
So, should I still call it a surprise? It has been a month or so when I last cooked Carbonara. Honestly, he doesn't eat carbonara before. He's used to eating Spaghetti. When I became her girlfriend, I think it somehow surprised him that I can cook and even experiment in cooking. I too felt amazed by the fact that he's in the game of testing and tasting something new for him. He may not admit it but he loves my different versions of Spaghetti and Carbonara.
It'll be a simple celebration for us, again. but, I guess it doesn't really matter just as long as we have each other to celebrate his fatherhood.
Of course, having our kids with us, they will not agree to just having Carbonara especially Ate Keanna - she'll request for pizza & ice cream for sure! Haha!

And another plan that I should succeed is convincing hubby to go with us on June 27th for Roey's photo shoot at Zoom Out Photography. It was a gift by my friend Peachy, who's Roey's Godparent. We can pick 30 photos that can be saved on a CD and have them printed. That's a lot, right? So, I'd like to have solo pictures of Roey, of Ate Keanna, pictures of me and hubby then at least 2 or 5 family portraits and so as pictures of the kids with my Mom.
I just really hope hubby will give in to my idea.

Now, this is my first time joining

Unusually tiring weekends

MellowYellowMondayBadge

It was the 1st weekend of the month which gave me a peek of somewhat a busy month.
We attended a friend's send-off party June 5th. It was Sunday the next day and we had a "field trip" (as I call it, kidding aside) to The Medical City in Trinoma. I had my OB perform a pap smear check up. Keanna lined up at the Dermatology section while Roey was first in the list for the 3PM Pediatrician. Good thing that Mama was with me to attend to the kids 'coz if not, whew! Good luck to me!
I was a bit worried about Roey's situation at that time but I managed to keep my cool. I accidentally noticed a lump on her right breast when she was just 5 months old. I had to monitor it for a month and as soon as I got hold of out medical cards, off to the Pedia and had it checked. Dra. Hassan referred us to her friend, Dr. Bernardo, a surgeon. I can't imagine my 7 months old child undergoing a surgery. I whispered a prayer.
After all our check ups, we visited my niece Joan who is working as a trainer at Fitness First in the same mall then we ate at KFC.

We had to wait for the surgeon's clinic schedule which was a Saturday. Hubby, me and Roey waited for him at the clinic for quite an hour or so. There were so many patients that day, I swear! The surgeon was nice and very accommodating. He then told me and hubby that a surgery is unnecessary yet and we can only try warm compress. It is highly possible that the lump was due to the Estrogen Roey got from me at the time I gave birth to her. There could have been too many for her of the said hormone. Now, in the event that Roey feel discomfort and the lump causes her pain, that is when we'll have to go back to the surgeon and a thorough examination will be necessary. We were also assured that there's been no breast cancer for baby's age at all.
The news then gave both me and Ronald a sigh of relief.
Then Sunday afternoon, my Mom and Keanna went to Church. I also received a phone call from my cousins Divine and Esmeeh who invited us over dinner. We didn't bring Roey anymore so this time, we were with big sister Keanna. She happily played with her cousin Kate Jhazreel. Can you see it in their eyes? LOL!

8 years

Happy Anniversary to my hubby, RONALD!

It has been 8 years when we promised to be with each other through thick and thin, through sickness and health...and I am hopeful we last a lifetime!

I was just 12 when I first met him. He was a classmate when I was just in 1st year High School. It was so cute to reminisce that we both liked each other, in other words...I had a crush on him and vice versa. We always exchange letters at that time though there were other girls that were linked to him. When he had the courage to ask if I'd like to be his girlfriend, I had to turn him down. I just had to stick to my promise that I'll finish HS without having any BFs. He was totally saddened and gave me back all the letters I gave him. =( I did the same though, haha!
I never got to talk to him after that, even after HS graduation.

It was after almost 10 years when he saw me while working at a movie house. He thought I didn't recognize him but he was wrong. That moment brought back the memories and started it all over again.

Now, that's quite a part of our love story. Today, we celebrate our 8th civil wedding anniversary. Thank GOD for all the blessings HE showered upon us.

Oh, BTW, we celebrate the same anniversary date with our couple friend Ramil and Cristy!

7Th month

What?
It has been 7 months?
I just can't believe how time flies fast.
Haley Roneese just turned 7 months old last May 27.
In that 7 mos. she's had a lot of milestones already.

She already have her first 2 middle teeth (bottom).
She's mastered grasping objects and transfer it from one hand to the other.
She can hold her feeding bottle using both her hands and feet (I think this is a special talent). Once, she heard her sister crying and she started crying as well.
She can already recognize voices and loves to play peek-a-boo.
Cries when she can't see me.
She can snatch food off our plate too.
